Rampion participates in this Year’s Filmmakers Open Studios 2004

On Sunday, May 2nd, 2004, stop by our studios here in Watertown from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm for a tour and on-going screenings as Rampion participates in this year's Filmmakers Open Studios. This is a unique opportunity to see what we do and how we do it and to take part in a weekend filled with media events. Last year at Rampion, more than 100 guests experienced a taste of Hollywood as they paraded down the red carpet to famous movie theme songs from “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” to “Fame”. They were greeted in the lobby by our new receptionist, Sylvia (you have to see her to believe her.) In addition, Rapunzel made an appearance in her tower. If you’re wondering what Rapunzel and Rampion have in common, check out that fairy tale one more time. There was also a visit from Frankenstein’s monster and his bride in our make-up/wardrobe department. Back by popular demand, we will be conducting tours of our facility, giving demonstrations of use of the 'Green Screen' for special effects (the kids really liked this last year), showing recent works on multiple screens throughout the facility and discussing producing, production and post-production.
